Section 11
Health and treatment

(1) Detainees or prisoners suffering from mental or physical illness should be treated by a medical doctor. However, if a detainee or prisoner wants to be treated by another doctor at his own expense, such treatment will be allowed as prescribed. If the doctor gives his written opinion along with the reasons, if such a detainee or prisoner has been nailed or handcuffed, he should also be kept in the hospital and given medicine as prescribed. If the government doctor gives an opinion, such a prisoner or the prisoner's owner wants to take him to the ghat, if his illness is cured, he will be allowed to take him to the ghat near the place where he was imprisoned, after submitting a bond document to bring him back to the prison. The person who takes charge of the detainee or prisoner and takes him to the ghat shall submit a written report on the health of the detainee or prisoner to the concerned jail every week. shall be deemed to exist and that period shall be deducted from the period of his imprisonment. (5) If the detainee or prisoner referred to in sub-section (2) or (3) recovers, he shall be kept in prison again, unless he does not need to be imprisoned or his term of imprisonment has been paid.

(5) Sub-section (2) ) or (3) If the detainee or prisoner mentioned in (3) recovers, he shall not be imprisoned, unless he is not imprisoned or his term of imprisonment has been served, he shall again be kept in the prison ……….
